okay sunday

Yesterday, we went to my sister's baby shower party a.k.a. Angelo Miguel's pre-birthday party at Mandaluyong. We were asked to draw a baby boy with the paper resting at the top of our heads tsk tsk tsk. One of my sisters drew a baby with a small head and the baby's arms about 3 inches away *lol* She calls it a 'chop2 baby' (sounds gory!). She kinda laughed her way out of her surreal drawing infront of everybody there. My mother drew a baby whose head is thrice bigger than his body. My dad insisted he drew a baby inside a crib but when we saw the drawing, it was a crib inside the baby hahaha Baby must be hungry ne~ *ROFL* Ok, ok, my drawing also didn't really fare too well --->

Atleast, he looked like a very happy baby right? Demo Kamisama, onegai~~~ don't make my nephew look like this when he's born. Please! I beg of you.... XD

After eating, playing another game, opening of gifts and eating again, we went to the nearby Policarpio street to check out the (over)lit houses decorated for the holidays:

We reckon that these houses were owned by the president of Meralco Corporation, his vice-president and the head of the board of directors *lol*

After another round of chicken and soup, we headed home. I went straight to sleep once I saw my bed. Amazingly, I was knocked out at 9pm. One of the very rare occasions these days.

same ol' problem

It's 32 days before Christmas and why do I find myself evading the malls??? Oh, I know---the Christmas rush just pulls all the people to the malls that's why. I don't enjoy going to very, very crowded people (but I'd give exceptions for things and people I like ^_^). I know that I really have to do some serious shopping since I haven't done much of it these past days except last Friday. I found myself inside SM Megamall an hour before it closes as I wait for my friends. We were to get our fill of comfort food at Soup Kitchen. So I was there inside the department store waiting for their SMSes and there weren't much people going around since the store was about to close. My feet instantly brought me to the Kids' Section coz I always buy my inaanaks' gifts first since Christmases are for the children. Besides, I have some stuff to get for my sister and my future nephew---baby shower this Sunday. I was eyeing this little rocking toy horse which I'd love to get for him when he turns 2 or 3. I don't think my sister would be too happy when I DO get it though. Having a Lone Ranger at a very early age is not what she'd be wishing for. DEFINITELY *lol* So I kept looking around. I saw this other toy which he could *punch* *punch* *punch* but it would still keep standing. It could work well when he starts teething. Ooooh the aggressions of a little (teething) man XD XD XD But then I thought if it's not gonna be Lone Ranger, it's never gonna be Rocky Balboa either. So I ended up buying this baby carrier instead. I plan to get something else before the weekend. It's only right that I get him a toy too. See, Im already spoiling my nephew even before his eyes open up to this world teehee XD

I picked up some stuff before I rushed out---tops for my sister as requested and a few other lil things but still, it won't make up even for a tenth of what I'd have to shop for. So God help me *prays*

DA-DA-DA-DA-DA-DAAA Tonight~~~ for some reason, I've been humming Paris Hilton's "Nothing In This World" song the whole morning 'til now. I know that Paris is definitely not a Mariah Carey or a Celine Dion but her songs are too pop, they cling.

beyond reasonable doubts

When Tsuba recently said that Tackey has kept the same big reactions through all these years, the '2u4u' DVD just further strengthened his claim...

acheche*ROFL* what the *&^%$#$%^&! hahahahaha

blowTackey, take out that gum now~ C'mon, spit.... *lol*

heartyMINNA, daijoubu.
Tackey's just acting as a (very cute) retard singing the national anthem haha

oiiiiIn shock? In pain? In giggles? All of the above? XD XD XD

heeey Could these be side effects of too much sun? bwahaha

hahaIf only Tsuba knew what goes behind his back...literally! hahahaha

As proven once again, Tackey is indeed, the KING OF REACTIONS. But no matter how much Tackey distorts, contorts, twists and bends those face muscles, he will forever remain kakkoii. I consider it part of his undeniable charms. Well, aside from the fact that he loves animals too...

purrrYou see, even if Tackey won't let Kitty stay in her little 'cozy' nook, she seem a very happy cat. No, not 'seem', SHE IS A VERY HAPPY CAT. I see 'URESHII' flashing in her cat eyes hahaha Now, where is Tsubasa? *looks around*

2go or not 2go?

I said to myself that if TackeyTsuba would have a con next year, Im on. It's got to be next year coz I just have the feeling that I just have to go soon before the real world eats me whole. Besides, how many times have Tsuba been hinting that something is up on their 5th year ne? So I was set on 2007. Saving up for the unitcon that is to be on 2007. I even warned my cousin that he shouldn't resign anytime soon coz he still has to tour me around if and when he has something up in Tokyo around TxT con time that I'd be there (if and when again). I even made a fist at him to threaten him which he took as very funny (-_-;) I was actually serious. These little fists can kill................. germs hahaha But laugh my dear cuz, laugh for now coz Im gonna hold you down to your words. Not the Kabukicho one, Im not interested. That, you go alone *lol*

And so my days are resigned at the thought of that 2007 unitcon in (usual) midyear or last quarter until Tsuba gave out the news about their TxT National Tour set early next year. About 28 shows outside Tokyo. This totally made me fall off the chair, so to speak, because I know that they would have December cons soon and rarely do they follow it up with another con immediately after. In this case, 1 month apart. Most fans are in disbelief with the announcement because we are all caught unaware. So Im back to deep contemplation over this. Should I or should I not?

Looking at the venue list, Im only familiar with HOKKAIDO, SENDAI, HIROSHIMA, FUKOUKA, NIIGATA and NAGOYA. And when I say familiar, I meant seen them on TV, read about them, heard about them DEMO I haven't even touched a single toe on those places. I know HOKKAIDO for good and fresh seafoods; HIROSHIMA and FUKOUKA for my WWII history exams in middle school and oh, my friend went there last time for this animation event he'd have to go to; SENDAI + NAGOYA for previous TxT con venues and NIIGATA coz Tackey went there to visit kids in school and oh, how they just adore him. But other than these very limited knowledge about the places, not even general or public knowledge, I already consider myself lost and lost in translation even before I get there. The free spirit in me says its gonna be an adventure. To go somewhere I haven't gone before where rich culture thrives and to see how diverse people can be in that part of the region. In contrast, the logical spirit says if you are to go, atleast know your nihonggo well so you wouldn't end up at some Shaolin Temple at the heart of a thick forest (sorry, since we're talking outside Tokyo, Im prone to think these places are provincial with vast lands and seas around) or don't ever go alone. Atleast, have someone with good conversational Nihonggo to take you. Hmmmm.... *dithers in deep thoughts*. In all honesty, looks like I was thinking more rationally 3 years ago. When TxT is not yet on my dictionary *lol*

Hmmm.......hmmm.......hmmmm........ if TxT would have had a con midyear or last quarter, in Tokyo, no doubt, I'm sooo there (tickets and ticket problems aside). I could even convince my friend, Anne to come and meet with me there around that time since she plans to go too. XD ) Im also considering that TxT may have another unitcon set for their actual 5th year anniversary which falls on September 11. They have got to have one for Tokyo (or Osaka) right? Besides this tour is too early for an anniversary gift to fans. It's 8 months early. Aaaarrrgggghhh, what to do? what to do? Im psyching myself up for possibilities. What if there isn't any? WAAAAAAAAHHHHHH..... *dithers nosebleeds at the end of this entry*

byouki desu

Babae: Doc, kumusta na ang asawa ko?
Doc:

Dad:
Bakit?
Son:
Hinalikan ko po ang seatmate ko.
Dad:
'tong anak ko, manang mana. Hehehe. Eh, masarap ba?
Son:
Opo, pogi po sya eh.

Husband: When I get mad at you, you never fight back. How do you control your anger?
Wife:
I clean the toilet bowl.
Husband:
How does that help?
Wife:
I use your toothbrush.

Lasing: Hoy! Sinong matapang?! Labas!
Lalake:
Ako! Bakit? Lalaban ka?!
Lasing:

GMA: Bobo! Banda yun!

Bitoy:

Dagul: Sira pala ulo mo! Wala ngang nagpalaki sa akin!

An alcoholic son wrote a letter...

Tanduay mo yan,
tiTequilan ko na talaga, pRhumis po!
Your San, Miguel.

Sorry about the declining sense of humor there ah. I am just trying to entertain myself (thanks to Luz and her forwarded emails). Kyo wa taihen kibun ga warui kara. Nodo ga itaiiiii. I already saw it coming but I did not heed it so here I am, at home, nursing a fever on a Friday. I even went to work yesterday when I'm already feeling chills in the morning. Now, my throat hurts when I eat or drink anything so it's been chicken noodle soup for me since yesterday's dinner and I've been popping paracetamols and Strepsils like M&Ms.

Well, atleast, I am taking that very much needed rest. That would also mean FREE TIME (^__^) (Note that I even did an AVEX with those jokes up there utilizing my free time hehehe). My mom would kill me if she knew that I go online rather than get some sleep and rest today. When she called this morning, she said I should be getting as much sleep as possible as she is aware that her daughter is a chronic insomniac. Dont worry Mom, I'm just gonna be online for a few minutes and I go back to sleep. Just needed a few minutes to go around and catch up on my TxT.... (^_^)V

kimchi + sushi talk

JJHI just finished up 'GOONG' this weekend and Im smitten with Joo Ji-hoon on this. How can I not? Even if my dad insists that he looked so robotic, he undeniably comes in princely in his suits and even in his casuals, Im finding him cuter (except for that pedal pushers he'd have to wear in Macau!!! I swear, whoever made him wore that should be banished! *lol*). I see Tsuba in him when he wears those tanktops + suit combo because of his long, lean torso. And yes, the low necklines show his very smooth, hair-free chest ahehehe And his snobbish, arrogant ways are so endearing too. So are the times he'd be smiling very rarely on the 24 episodes of 'Goong'. My sister says he looks a lot like Bi. Probably because of the eyes but I liken him more to Tsubasa (or my mind think it is). Unfortunately, when I looked him up in DramaWiki, he only have 1 series in his filmography and that is 'Goong' already so I wont be seeing much of him yet. I hope he'll do a movie or another series so I could watch him again. I also found out that there would be 'Goong 2' early next year. Unfortunately, again, he won't be appearing on it as posted. On 'Goong2', they would have Se7ven (attention AKI-chan! ^.^) to play the royal grandson who is oblivious to the fact that he has royal blood running in his veins and he was sought out to become the new emperor. Pretty interesting story. Something to look forward to when I crave for some 'kimchi' in the future.

After watching several Korean dramas, I have grown familiar with the plots already. A love triangle/quadrangle would always, ALWAYS be the main story. It would either start as a love-hate or a one-sided love thing then it will blossom into a full-pledged love with the other party after a series of good and bad instances. And when finally, they both have come into terms with their feelings, a big block of turbulence will come in a form of an ex or a ghost from the past or some lie that just wont remain hidden and it will propel our protagonists to another major emotional rollercoaster. Fear not though coz we often have nice endings. So why is that even if I already know what to expect, I still want to watch these kdramas? Well, like everybody else, I also want to entertain myself with the *tingly* plots and happy endings. Besides, I could always find a good excuse for insomnia.

Speaking of which, I have been very curious of Tackey's upcoming dorama special. I have read about it online but a lot of questions are still sitting in my head. Will this special be another TBS presentation? Will the Romeo + Juliet plot be a bit contemporary? Mixing the old with the new like they did in 'Goong' or Baz Luhrman's version in 1996? Or it's just gonna be a lil adaptation of the story about the star-crossed lovers Japanese style? Looks like I'm putting too much thought on this when it might just run in a total of 5 hours or so. You have to forgive me, Im in my Tackey dorama drought these days. The last dorama I saw him in was 'Satomi Hakkenden' and that was what---January 2006! I was watching 'Antique Cake Store' with K this evening and I started missing Tackey doramas again even if I just went over another round of BokuMado and Majo a few weeks ago. Maybe I just needed my Vitamin T more now for de-stressing but I really hope that Tackey would be acting in a full-length dorama next year. Pweetty pwease?! (^__^)

And here I am, asking for a dorama when Tackey could be needing a rest himself. How selfish! *lol* Ok then, selfish me will go wait for the '2u4u' album instead. It's coming soon atleast. YIPEEEEE-YAAAAY!!!

PS: Let me just welcome YVONNE to dithersanctum.blogspot. IRASHAAAAIII!!! And you thought I wasn't updating tsk tsk tsk :p :p :p
