Dithers! You won a singing contest when you were a kid?! I knew it. Ako naman, I used to dance din sa plaza. I was the only girl in the group. In 80's getup, we looked like little Menudo and Madonna hehe. Videoke/dinner tayo minsan ah!
Puppies. My eyes watered reading that paragraph. I hate it when pets leave us too soon. :(

How old are the pups? Could it be the mother's milk is no good or something? I ask because when I was a teenager we got a 1 week old puppy because they were having to find homes for them because whatever was wrong with the mother's milk was killing off the pups. We used doll bottles with special formula ^_^ Anyway, I thought I would quick mention this as a possibility for what is ailing the puppies.
ummmm sad to say (from the point of view of the listeners haha), yup I won MEL and my piece was tadadah--->"Greatest Love of All". Move over Whitney Houston. Prize ko MACAROONS na itinago sa ilalim ng kama at nilanggam hahahaha~ Pero wag ka, sumayaw rin kami ng sisters ko at dinamay pa namin si Jenny. Sa aking naaalala ay 'Dress You Up With My Love' pa ang song namin and we were called .... "THE KOOLAIDers" dahil mahilig kami sa Kool-Aid magkakapatid at wala na ring magagawa si Jen hahahahahaha. Kami ng ate ko ang nag-choreograph. Pero sobrang tagal na nun.... parang pinagsisihan kong pinost ko yun ha. Sa mga barkada ko ngayon, iilan lang nakakaalam nun at yung mga nakakaalam tawag sa akin FIESTA SINGING QUEEN grrrrr!!!! XDDD
I think maraming taga sa atin ang dumaan diyan. Mahilig pa naman sa fiesta ang mga tao dito tsk tsk Sige Videoke tyo minsan.....sa bundok at malayo sa kabihasnan *lol*

Yeah, I almost bawled over when I was talking to my bro about the puppy. Sad kasi and alam mo yung feeling na they dun really want to die di ba? May trauma na ako dun sa isang dog namin before eh. She was in severe pain before she said bye2. Naiyak talaga ako coz I saw her na nahihirapan and I cant do anything in her last minutes. That's why when I was treating Boom, Im expecting the worst na pero hoping that if and when he does go, wala ako sa bahay. Mas traumatic kasi pag ganun. Buti naman iba ang nangyari. Ngayon, ayon ang kulit, ang takaw at matigas ang ulo (^^)
The pups are almost same age as my nephew GLENDA. They are about 2 months old. I know what you were saying about the mom's milk making it poisonous for the babies but in their case, it's got nothing to do with it coz they've been feeding from their mom for 2mos now and it's just recently that they get this sick. I also looked it up on the net and I thought it was this HEPAVIRUS thing with puppies but the Vet said it could be parasites attacking their liver. That's why I give them vitamins for the liver and antibiotics as well. I plan to have them dewormed in a month coz they are just too young for that right now. Yeah I know, it is a dirty job but somebody's gotta do it---> MY BRO! If I could make him to do it *lol*

Sorry to have taken so long in getting back on this! First, congratulations to Gio....and when will we see a new picture????
I hope there has been some improvement with the pups. I have come to absolutely hate the word liver! We've lost 2 pets in 14 months to liver problems. One was complete liver failure (vet doesn't know why it happens) & Sarah Ann lost her little Skybird to what the vet thought may have been liver malfunction Feb. 12 this year. He was totally fine one day then appeared to have a cold the next & we began treatment (heat lamp & antibiotic in water) & he improved but the next evening he started looking sickly again so we took him to emergency vet. To shorten the story, he was there maybe an hour when vet called to say he had died. Sky had never been sick a day in his life so this was a complete shock to all of the family.
So....my best thoughts, etc. on getting the pups healthy. You seem to have a very good touch with animals ^_^
oh it's alright GLENDA. Thanks. My sister has yet to send us Gio's fotos on his baptism. And as usual, the digicam we brought early that morning, turns out, batteries were dead. No extras. No time to go to any 7-eleven (>,<) so we weren't able to take much pictures ourselves but you are sure to be seeing more of nephew in future entries that's for sure (^_~)
There has been good developments as far as the pups are concerned, thank goodness. And to think that after the thing with the liver (ooops sorry 2 mention the word XD), they almost went blind. If not with the help of my bro-in-law (who's an optha btw), they're probably free from liver problems but completely blind by now. Their immune system went really down since they got sick from before so their eyes got infected BIG TIME. It was another set of medication for them and now, they are back to genki again. Two pups are looking 'normal' like before (BOOMBOOM & Puppy4), other one (Puppy3) is still looking possessed with his eyes all greyish white haha but he's genki so Id like to think that he's gonna recover too. AND Im hoping that'll be the end of a series of puppies' sicknesses|illnesses|curses or whatever you wanna call it! Im losing chunks from my TxT fund on their medication here~ XDDD
On the other hand, it's sad to hear you lost your pets recently. I am prone to think Sarah Ann's Skybird and your other pet, if they were pups, had the same illness as my puppies. Same symptoms: genki one day, very sick the next. I guess this thing with the liver strikes real fast and they dun even know what hit them. That's why it's really sad when they go. At the back of my head, I know they dun really want to but can't fight it. Dont worry coz as what the saying goes, all dogs or pets for that matter go to heaven~ No harm in believing that deshou?
My mom calls me Dr. Dithers now hahahaha~ She even asked me to wear surgical gloves when I was treating the puppies. If she'd ask me to wear surgical mask too, you might as well throw me in the crack line up of 'HOUSE' series coz I could very well fit in *lol*
