weirdos

Wow, what a sleep XD Woke up at 5pm, in time for our family dinner at Gerry's Grill. Was surprised to see my adorable nephew here too. I was carrying him around so proudly in the mall earlier coz the people would always have something cute to say. I just have to make sure to mention that Im the auntie (not the mommy) loud and audibly specially when there are really cute guys around *lol*

Anyways, I can't believe that our karaoke-addicted neighbors are at it again. I think they have been karaoke-ing since Wednesday. Here is the real shocker---> IT WAS ACTUALLY FOR SOMEONE'S WAKE (O.O) I was surprised to hear that myself too. I was just told that this morning. Im probably used to them having their karaoke nights almost every night but c'mon, shouldn't they atleast keep quiet and pay respect to the deceased just for this time?! Even if it is to say that they want to remember happy memories, having karaoke nights teamed up with bottles of beer and disturbing the neighbors is just going overboard (>.<) The worse thing, they closed down the whole street for this. Their kids running back and forth as if they were having a leisure walk in a public park on a sunny day. Our dogs kept barking at them. Kashimashii (>.<) Add to that, our stupid homeowners' president is not doing anything coz really, the guy is a total dirtbag. He strikes me as the type who'd volunteer his own vault password to anybody when they don't even know he's got one. That stupid (>.<) I dont know how long our neighbors plan to keep this up. I hope I have enough patience to still take it but tonight I'll pray for their deceased to haunt them in their sleep. Their deceased and the friends of their deceased who are also in the afterlife. I really think they should be taught a lesson (>.<) (>.<) (>.<) (>.<) (>.<) (>.<)
(>.<) (>.<)

In the meantime, I go watch 'CINEMA PARADISO'. Trying to catch up on artfilms....as if!
(^,^) Think happy thoughts Dithers. Think 'Crazy Rainbow' + 'X-Dame' happy thoughts and go back to that very happy place....

play hard, work harder

It's past 8AM, Saturday. My body is tired but my mind is all awake the whole night 'til now. It's not caffeine coz I hardly have coffee these days. Not sugar rush either coz it's been 7 hours since my last apple iced tea. And even if symptoms may look like it, let me assure you that it's definitely not CRACK yo! XDDD So why am I still infront of KYON (my laptop), sitting on the same couch where my dad had seen me last, last night and first to see me on now that they are awake?! My best and only guess --- its the BIG "I" (Insomnia). The usual culprit of my sleepless nights. Nyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah~

What to do while Im waiting for Mr. Sandman? I'd do the inevitable. I decided to squee about TxT's latest PVs since I have got time to spare (in the wee hours of the morning when most of you in my timeline are still fast asleep XD). Yes, not another TxT entry on the PVs *lol* But indulge me people since I am the one who tosses and turns myself to sleep here :p :p :p

We got ourselves 2 more adorable PVs to kyaaaaaah~ on. The 'Crazy Rainbow' PV and 'X-Dame' PV. Both still have a lot of 'HO! SAMA' dorky + baka moments to it which I love very much. I think these new PVs and 'HO! SAMA' PV are all on the same set ---> THE KAKOII + DORKY/BAKA SET as opposed to THE KAKOII + SERIOUS/MYSTERIOUS SET where 'Kamen', 'Serenade', 'Sotsugyou', 'True Heart', 'Get Down', 'Kiseki', '1Day 1Dream' PVs fall into. 'Venus' and 'Yume Monogatari' for me are still uncategorized or should I call them THE KAKOII + SOCIAL AND VERY INTERACTIVE SET with those international delegates in 'Venus' and lucky, lucky fans in 'Yume'??? Yeah, I know Im crazy to come up with such things *lol* So girls and boys, do not follow my example. Get 8 hours of healthy sleep daily hehehe~

After more than 10 times repeat of each PV in my player at work and at home, these are what my little frenzy fingers managed to screencapped. Just *click* the caps to enlarge:

CRAINBOW
1 - 2. Tackey did a bit of 'Crazy Rainbow' furitsuke while Tsuba did a cross-promotion of 'X-dame' here. Of course, they did it in their own cute ways *dokidoki*, 3 - 4. If Tackey-kun plays darts, Tsuba-kun will play too *lol*, 5. Tackey displayed the winner bedimpled grin, 6. Tsuba displayed the kawaii loser face *lol* We've seen a very close relative of this reaction on HEY3x before~~~ *COUGHTsubarcheryCOUGH* hahaha~, 7 - 8. Our lovely boys were taking their time singing and lounging around when suddenly, 9. Tackey checked his invisible (but very reliable) watch *rofl* and said "Uh-oh Tsuba-chan, we really have to go now. Boss will not be very happy~" XDDD
Boss may not be very happy to know that his 2 topnotch clubhosts are still out and playing specially that they have a very, very difficult customer who just called in a reservation for tonight *lol* Daijoubu boss, you'd be proud to know that it's not all games the whole morning. They have been practicing in between too *lol*

worknplayAnd so as the night starts, the challenge to charm begins...

XDAME
1 . Tackey and Tsuba welcome blondie-mama inside the club in their dashing oshare suits, 2. TxT entertained their difficult guest for the night--->Blondie-mama. If she would have been any younger, she would be kicked to Timbuktu by Skammie and me and most likely, the rest of the fandom *lol*, 3. Tackey's reaction to Tsuba's fishbowl Martini glass x 1 is already funny. x 3 is just toooo *ROOOOFL* See how his precious bangs shake??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~ *wipes happy tears*, 4. Tackey tries to exert his charms on to blondie-mama which actually left blondie-mama in a moment of weakness on this particular cap as you can see *loooool*. She was actually having an internal dilemma while this was going on: "This young man's too cute but the director says I should play primadonna on this and no retakes. But he's too cute (@_@)" XDDD, 5. Tsuba tried his charms on her too with strawberries. C'mon, I know this blondie-mama is gonna crack if it weren't for the cameras. DANZEN deshou?, 6. Tsuba fixes his suit while Tackey gets a little self-love. WTH!!!! Crazy *lol*, 7. TxT getting dumped over that guy?! So now we know why she's being difficult....she's got bad taste hahaha~

Tackey and Tsuba in their silver suits dancing *shields eyes* hehehe~ Anyways, I think Id go to sleep now if I want to join my family later for some celebrating. My sister's graduating from pre-med today that's why they were up early.

OMEDETOU LIL SIS!!!
Hopefully I dun wake up tomorrow
and miss your graduation celebration.

Kami-sama, keep my dreams safe from this creepy gothic creature when I go to sleep. Hontou ni, kowakatta ne~ I dunno how many times I've seen her on X-Dame but still, kowaii yo! *trembles*

30 + 270

I am not trying to sound like a math genius here. The little equation up there came to me when I was rushing an SMS reply to Mems last Friday. She asked me what plans I have for the night and since I was so busy working on something then, I ended up typing "30" in reference to the most talked about testosterone-pumped movie these days. Her otherwise teasing reply was "30? ano yun?~" (trans: what's that?). So checked the message I sent and realizing that I missed a zero, I replied with that equation *lol*

After 2 failed attempts at it, I was happy to have gone and watched the famous '300' finally. Went with the usual gang last Saturday and almost missed seats for an 8pm viewing coz we were happily posing with Bruce Lee (see him here), Hulk Hogan, a bunch of aliens and a couple of the undead at an outdoor wax exhibit. We just realized that we should have got tics earlier when we came and saw that the only seats available are the ones on the front row and we just grabbed them right away. Worry about going blind as bats later haha.

Sorry about the lengthy prelude when I just wanted to talk about the movie. Isn't that just Dithers-rashii?! hahaha Ok, the movie ---> thanks to my World History in College, I am not new to the world of the Spartans. I have managed to keep some knowledge about Sparta being known for their brave and courageous fighting men (or blood-thirsty, barbaric fools depending on whose point of view we're talkin about). How they have won many wars through their phalanx tactic using their shields to cover from neck to thigh --- the parts that are very vulnerable for hits since they dun have any body shield or body armories to carry around. And how Persia, known to be IRAN of present time is the 'Cradle of Civilization' and once a super power. The movie depicted them all so beautifully.

Story-wise, Id have to say I am very much reminded of Gladiator and Braveheart's theme of scantily-clad men fighting for liberty. Men marching on with their blind faith that they could triumph not with numbers but with camaraderie and brotherhood. Going to a battle where the impossible can be made to happen. Fighting for a common honorable cause. Of course, all of these go with a loooot of gore and bloodshed plus a lil of a romantic angle to complete the brew. What made the big difference to me and Id have to admit that it floored me as most have was the presentation of the movie. The visuals are just too good that each scene could pass for a poster/billboard material. Even King Leonidas'...erm... bonbons staring back at me while he looks at the moon is a sight to behold....in an artistic way I mean. But of course XDDD Each shot of the scenes were thoroughly thought of and carefully art-directed. The whole movie was consistent with the visually stimulating digital imagery and dark subdued hues that somehow left me in a trance. Here are some shots from the movie (credit to thecooler.encblog.com) and note that these are actual scenes and not just stills:

whoaPlus, I won't deny that the men looked good. Very good (^,^) Hell, even the elderlies have well-defined abs there. It's like everyone there alot about 5-7 hours with their abdominizers *lol* and the word 'FAT' is a form of sacrilege for them Spartans. When you dare say it, you will instantly be decapitated or kicked into a death hole hahahaha~

MEN!See what I mean?! Deltoids + Pectorals + Biceps + Rectus Abdominises + firm man boobies everywhere!!!!! Sparttttaaaaa KYAAAAAH~ XDDD

I am very much looking forward to seeing the graphic novel by Frank Miller which according to my friend Lowie (he's big on stuff like these and he was lucky enough to get a copy of it thru gf Jenn's generosity---how schwet! XD), has panels which are faithfully copied to the movie:

graphicAtleast, the fans of the graphic novel will not be left disappointed. I have seen the movie once but if anyone wants company to see it, I dun mind seeing it again if only for another dose of eyecandy (^_^)

PS: Astinos and Theodore 'Ted' Logan separated at birth?! Excellent dude! *air guitars* HAHAHA~ *runs away from my Astinos-obsessed friend*

s.o.s

I wanted to take my time and blog about what's been happening at my end these days (man, they're piling up!) but because I have too much work in my hands right now that Id have to finish before I attempt to sneak off and watch '300' tonight (Aki-chan, you've gone 3x already when I have yet to have my first! Astinos got you bad *rofl*~~~), I'll just share with you the song that best describes what Im feeling *click* --->

say aaahh~

Ok, dun kill me coz I am but possessed by the SCAN MONSTER~ *lol* I dedicate this post to tomodachi Carolyn~ Just so you could squee with me XDDD
kawaiiKAWAIIIIIIIIIIIII DESHOU?~ This got to be one of Tackey's signature on-cam look ^^ Where have I seen this?! Oh yeah...

gotchaYup, there is no denying, we had our share of this open-mouthed baka pose from clips and scans of before. And even if Tackey doesn't have the perfect set of pearly whites, we love him hogging air like this nonetheless *(^_^)*.

oh! my god! cuties!

Weekend is over once again. Start of the work week is here and I feel slower than a snail. My weekend has been reduced to just two things--- (1) my fantabulous nephew GIO and (2) my much-awaited TxT Calendar.

Last Saturday, smacked in the middle of gimik places as Makati and Ortigas, I have to rush home when I learned that Gio is coming over by 6pm. I was with my friends having Chinese for almost-dinner and the night was still young.....but what the heck, I HAVE to go home! Im sorry dear friends, I only get to see my nephew once a week and since it's been part of my system to see him on weekends, I could turn crabby this week if my routine be ruined. I know you insisted that I could see him some other day but I dunno, I really want to see him. I also know you wanted me to stay by citing the rain as a reason for me not to go but you know how stubborn I get. I didn't even care if it was raining, I dun carry an umbrella around and I have to fight for my cab home in such a busy place. Actually, I did see him again *teehee* coz he was dropped off at our house the next day. He had to stay with us for the whole day coz mommy is on duty, daddy's at the clinic and yaya is on an emergency. I was surprised that this baby's cry could wake me up at 9am when my own keitai alarm, at it's fullest volume, couldn't (on weekends, Id wake up past noon unless something's up). Of course, plans for Sunday were dropped and my sisters and I became Gio's yaya for the day. We fed him his formula, changed his diapers and rocked him 'til our muscles ache. Gawd, this baby's getting heavier and I wouldn't wonder. At the rate he's taking in all 5 bottles the whole day, man, for a 2-month old, he's a milk monster. Atleast, he is an UBERCUTE milk monster hahaha~ Can't wait to see him next weekend even if he comes at 6am!

Next up ---> it came in an 19" x 14.5" x 4 " carton box. Weighs 1353g. Costs 2000yen. And includes 6 applegreen Japanese papers for packaging... no matter how and where I look at it, all these couldn't possibly amount to 4320yen of shipping rate!!! That's more than the amount of another TxT calendar tsk tsk. But ok, I guess when you see it, all the faint-inducing money matters will fade away...

kyaaa
aaaa
aaaa
aahhhhDon't you just love what they did to the fotobooks' back covers? TxT taking shots of each other. The concept was further reinforced as the pages of the fotobooks were taken by TxT themselves of each other! I say *two thumbs up* here for the concept team ^_^ I also love that duotoned cardboard which binds the fotobooks and the calendar together.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. How Nice! Excellent! Great! Good! Oh! My God! (*lol* see the pause there? like Oh! *pause* My God! *pause* haha) Enjoy~~~ Majorly funny phrases in Japanese fashion yet sooo kawaii with those TxT fotos. It's like it's saying what we, fangals, are saying *lol* I have expected Tackey in his usual baka poses and I wasn't disappointed. He's really the KING OF REACTIONS ne~ v

bakaeroI know that some have not gotten their hands on these yet so as not to preempt you, Im just gonna post my top fave spread from each fotobook. It's hard to choose which fotos/spreads are the best but I will try...

For MOMENT, Tsuba chose to shoot Tackey in a narrative way. Each foto leads to the next and simple as it may look, there is a story behind them. He also showed Tackey in his ordinary self walking the alleys, eating, talking to the local kouhais and preparing himself as 'THE' Tackey we know. It's like a peek in the life of Tackey when he is not infront of the cameras .... and when he isn't very, very, very busy *lol* Well, atleast that's how I interpret the whole fotobook. This is one of my fave spreads (coz I like them all!)

bellisimoSomehow, I got to thinking that Tackey would still be like this even without Tsuba's camera. Yup, he'd play retard with that pomelo infront of Tsuba anytime *lol* Come to think of it, pinaglihi ako sa pomelo hmmm.... Look at how he inspects that apple on right-hand page. He looks like a pro on this coz that's how my mom would check on fruits and she's definitely a pro haha tell me, I didn't just compare Tackey to my mom *ROFL*. Anyways, don't let that ringo woman see Tackey holding those apples or she'll demand Tackey to peel them first!!!! XDDD

I also love the fotos wherein he looked like he's reprising his role as DREAMBOY Tackey with a white robe. The shots were blurry but I think that effect was intentional. The spread with Tackey sleeping like an angel *dithers' knees going weak* and chewing on his nails, also the one with him eating at a local shop and making faces with his chopsticks... but I did say, Id post just one spread deshou? It's for everyone to see with their own calendars.

For II VIII III, Tackey opted for drama using desaturated, sepia tones for Tsuba on some shots and a play of shadows, perspective angles and tight shots on others (Skammie, if you meant those tight shots on Tsuba's lower half, do not fear. Tackey's just being artistic... if not yaoi on that hahahaha~ Just think that if Johnny-san took that shot, then Id be really, really afraid y'know but if it were Tackey, it's alright *lol*). Pic shots from a chapel, a wall of graffiti, sands and trees added texture to the pictures and I have to say, Tackey, your digiart skills are good. I didn't expect you could tinker with your Photoshop that way specially with your busy schedule and all but of course, what do you do with 7 computers deshou?! But you never stop surprising me which is just great. Here is one of my fave spreads among others...

magnificoIm sorry that I'd have to tamper the photoshop work that Tackey did a bit coz I hate having those binds in the middle of spreads. It kills the drama XDDD I know I did a poor job but the OC me just want to take it out as fast as I could. The reason why I love this spread is because Tsuba has his arms spread wide open against the glittery shore. Looks like he's living up to his namesake ne~ Flap and spread out your wings, WING! I also love the sepia ones which Tackey took from inside the chapel and the ones with the roses. He looked more like a Latino lover in it but again, I only said one spread for each as promised.

The Calendar fotos? Let's just say there are lots of TxT rabu-rabu going on as shown in these outtakes:

rabu
Let me see, from L-R top to bottom in yaoi style, we got TxT and their baby on first frame. I think they are going on a second honeymoon or something haha~ As we see, Tackey does all the bag-carrying here coz Princess Tsuba takes care of the bibi *lol* It's like their own version of Nora & Pip's Maria Leonora Teresa hahahahahaha~ On second frame, TxT shopping together. Frame three, KYAAAAAAAHHHH Tackey ude tamagos!!! I think he's out to impress *AHEM* somebody~~~ Next is the TxT date. Tsuba taking precious Kodak moments of papie Tackey *lol*. I wonder what happens after dinner hmmm... XD On frame five, this looks like a scene where Tsuba a.k.a Danny Zuko flirts with Tackey a.k.a Sandy Olsson on 'GREASE' yo! It's sooo summer lovin'~ hehe. Tell me more~ Tell me more~ hehehehe. On the following frame, seems Tackey is showing some billiard moves or was it Tsuba?! I dunno who's trying to impress whom this time. Frame seven, *TICKLE* *TICKLE* Tackey, yes Tsuba knows too well where Tackey gets ticklish and he aims for it. The question is, did they wrestle after??? XDDD Last frame, TackeyTsuba hamming up and ubercute as usual. Aishiteru tze TxT!!!!
Do not worry, there are lots more to see in there. I tried not to post the actual calendar fotos so you guys would be able to squee in glee and in suspense when you get your own copies.

And what an entry huh? To think these are just what I've been busy with for the weekend .... include this Monday too. Busy? *lol*

a day in a life

They say that imitation is a form of flattery. I don't know if it applies in this case though XDDD

Those crazy fotos have no connection whatsoever to this entry. Im just trying to end the week with a smile. It was a good week for me though I can't say so for the day. It's that time of the month. Two of my very good friends are in discord. I have to fork out $$ for somebody else's carelessness and I've been told that I have very hectic days to prepare for next week. Throw in that Tackey still has a broken nose but to be positive about it, it's healing. Well, that's how life goes. Atleast, it is not all bad. There is still the TxT calendar which Im very excited to oglefest on (prepare for excessive droolage soon). Seeing and sniffing (^,^) my nephew again over the weekend. Trying to get a chance at seeing "Letters from Iwo Jima" if I could while Im in Makati tomorrow. Catch up on 'Heroes' coz I was stuck on episode 14. If only weekends can be stretched to a whole month, life would be such a bliss.

PS: To my friend Anne-chan, 東京にあなたの旅行を楽しみなさい! 幸運な女性!!!!!!!!!! I hope you got that, woman.... if not, time to go over Nihonggo 101 again~~~ And yes please, before you leave XDDD

must watch

Who isn't familiar with the FAB 5 right?! When they went here in the Phils., the women went crazy as if they are the newest boyband in town. There were even marriage proposals tossed at Kyan (the Grooming Gay) and Jai (the Culture Gay) even if we know very well that heterosexual marriage isn't their thing.

So why am I talking about them now, you may ask. Well, going through youtube, I've come across their Mad TV alter-egos. This clip made me laugh so hard that I was so close to crying. I hope it tickles your fancy too. I'll be taking out the background music for a few days so you guys could enjoy the clip. Dozou.....

Have a nice weekend everyone *muaaacks* ~ winks

PS:
What is this I heard that Tackey was forecasted to have a wife who'd come from the same business as his?! Dakara Kathy suggested we make our own group or audition for Morning Musume or something. Ok, let me just adjust my Alto to high pitch Soprano or distort my voicebox *lol*

---> V(^o^)V to
Yvonne who's a biiiig fan of MM~
