There were even marriage proposals tossed at Kyan (the Grooming Gay) and Jai (the Culture Gay) even if we know very well that heterosexual marriage isn't their thing.

So why am I talking about them now, you may ask. Well, going through youtube, I've come across their Mad TV alter-egos. This clip made me laugh so hard that I was so close to crying. That's about what kept me from blogging these past few days. There would be times that I'd be tempted to start a new entry but it's either I was sooo tired to do it or I'm rushing out to get somewhere. I'm actually feeling a little sleepy right now but with the time I got on my hands, I might as well maximize them coz there is another project coming up and I may not get this chance again soon....waaaaah!

Anyways, let me just take this chance to say my belated greeting of...

to everyone (coz it seems most of us have a little Chinese blood in our veins with the Chinese population making up about more than one fifth of the world's population now *lol*). I hope that the Buta year will prove to be better for all of us (including those who are Ox or Rabbit-borne which they say could be unlucky). As for me, it says I just have to take that step forward to make it my lucky year and take caution in every major step I embark on. I don't really take Chinese Astrology forecasts THAT seriously but I find these things omoshiroi coz sometimes what I read comes out true *lol* but then I've always believed that you make your own destiny so... f(^.^;)

We just welcomed Gio, my adorable nephew, to Christianhood last weekend and he was in his best behaviour. He did not cry during the ceremony and he probably got tired from being passed around from one person to another for about, let me see hmmm, more than 20 times at the reception haha. Poor baby, passed around so much like a basketball during the last 2 minutes time XD No wonder he is sooo out the rest of his baptismal reception but still this tita won't let him be. I can't help it, he is just toooo cute that I take pictures if not watch him sleep peacefully. These days he's got that hiphop pose of arms crossed each other while he sleeps and I told his other tita that he only has to wear some blingblings to complete the Slim Shady hiphop look hahahaha~ Atashi no oi ga MAJOR KAWAII *pinch* *kiss* *sniff* cute akachan ^^

The relatives from US and Italy came to visit recently. Some have gone back to US, others are still around and one will be staying for work. So it was food binge for me again and it's been a bliss so far. I stuffed myself with seafoods, kaldereta, menudo, kare-kare, dinuguan, pinakbet, crispy pata, pastries, ice cream, fruits etc. Opo, ako po'y isang PG (Patay Gutom) at hindi ko ito ikinahihiya hahahaha~ There is also a lot of MAGIC SING singing that's for sure. I dun know why but my titas and titos think that I got a golden voice so they'd usually ask me to sing for them when they visit. Ok, ok, I just won this one singing contest in a town fiesta when I was really, really young but that doesn't mean we have a prized singer in our midst yo! So Im hoping next time they come, the pressure of me singing else they won't leave the place 'til I do will be lifted. I hope they'd be happy with just one 'Bah-bah Black Sheep' and no requests allowed *lol* Goodness, one tita didn't know what she is actually asking for... she asked me to sing Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On'!!! Was tempted to ask her, "Auntie, you're not asking for the 11th plague are you???!" *ROFL* Anyways, it was fun to have them around. I think my cousins will be back here November and looks to me that they have "PARRRTTTY!!!" in mind. We'll see...

Nope, I wasn't trying to reenact scenes from 'Grey's Anatomy' but I was playing Dr. Dithers for our house pets for these past days. We originally have 6 puppies from our dogs Maki and Sashi but due to unfortunate events, 2 of them are now in doggie heaven. One went towards the light at birth while the other just succumbed to liver infection. I remember leaving the house the morning and saw that recent one (which we shall call 'Puppy' since we haven't named them all yet. Basically, they are all called 'Puppy' right now except one.) wobbling his way around. I thought at first that his feet got numb from resting that he walked like a drunken master but when I called in the afternoon to get some infos I needed for work, my bro was in the car driving back home. He told me he's on his way back from rushing 'Puppy' to the vet coz well, he got really, really, really sick. My heart just broke when he said that 'Puppy' was already in doggie heaven. I was really sad for the rest of the afternoon and I really felt bad for 'Puppy'. Moreso that I carried and patted him before I left that same morning. I had no idea that he was that sick. That's why when 'Puppy2' started showing signs of the same illness last week, I just knew we'd have to save him. To make the long story shorter (coz you very well know that it could get longer *lol*), I stayed and nursed him with medicines from the vet even when he almost flat-lined on me. There was one night that he really lay there lifeless and you know that he really is 'going'. It was a scary sight but I really held on to him and kept talking to him. I kept telling 'Puppy2' to fight whatever it is coz the medicines won't work if the spirit is low as if he'd really understand. I have been keeping watch without much sleep for consecutive nights because when he starts to cry, I have to rub his tummy with oils to ease the pain. My aim was to make him eat doggie food so he'd have enough strength to fight the sickness but since he wasn't eating and getting weaker by the day, we have to give him oral dextrose which I'd have to administer round the clock or he'd be dehydrated. It was just yesterday morning when he began walking again and man, he EATS like a hog! Yatta ne~ Hontou ni, major kiseki desu ^^ Now, 2 of the other pups are getting a bit sickly and I know that it's not really a reason to celebrate but somehow Im positive that we can hurdle this coz it's been done to something that went 80-20 (at that rate, it's not just 50-50) before. I just hope that 'Puppy3' and 'Puppy4' can be as cooperative as 'Puppy2' coz if not, we'd have to take it the hard way *cracks knuckles* By the way, we now call 'Puppy2' BOOM or BOOMBOOM courtesy of my sister. She was rubbing 'Puppy2's tummy one night while he laid on a newspaper and she saw the headline which reads "BOOM in Asia ...." (^_^) I've been calling him Boomboom since but he snubs me and walks away (ingrate! *lol*) but when I stand around, he comes to me and lays on my feet awwww~

Should I start talking about work now?! 私は好まない。今、それは退屈している hehehehehehe...erm...seriously, its a HEH! XDDD *clears throat*

Btw, anyone seen TxT on Music Station last weekend? I knew that Takuya Kimura would be on it but on the date, my friend Sann SMS-ed me and told me TxT were performing. SMAP, Tokio and Arashi were on it too. Is this one recent or was it a replay of an MS special from before??? Why dun I have Animax Channel on my cable??? I've always thought that I do and on moments like this when I need it most, I discover that I have none. WWWHHHY? (T-T)

Nope, I am not a Valentine Scrooge. I just don't like the idea of everyone capitalizing on this one day and pretend that everything is suddenly so perfect and rosy (figuritively and literally). Imagine roses being sold triple their prices and couples going gooey on each other everywhere I set my eyes on. It's too syrup-y sweet and cliche-ish, I feel the hair at the back of my neck rising. But you know, if it works for others, well good for them. Id rather have my valentines away from the city and with a little more creativity than just a bunch of those jacked-up priced bouquets. The book was a favorite so I looked forward to seeing the movie

Despite the tweaky voice, I just love his acting.

When I was 'Goong'-ed, I was JJH-ed too. I know that when you look at him,
he's no different from the typical Korean man (in showbiz) --- tall, fair and
chinky-eyed. I guess watching the series made a difference and Im sure my
bestfriend would confirm that coz now, she's drooling over him more
than I do and I would take the responsibility for that *lol*

6 - Keanu Reeves
I probably am one of the those who know that he plays bass in a band (Dog Star).
That he played hockey in high school and was even voted MVP. And he is
afraid of the dark. Even if they think his acting is 'duh', I still like him
anyway and I don't even know why.

5 - Takuya Kimura
Who does not know him? I could almost equate his name to Japan *lol* Seriously,
next to Tackey, I have most of his series and my fave would be his portrayals in
'Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi', 'Hero' and 'Engine'. I loved his
looks on 'Goodluck!' though.

4 - Jerry Yan
As what Jen would often say, "Blame it all to Jerry Yan!!!
Blame it all to 'Meteor Garden'!!!" Enough said hahaha

3 - Bi
One proof that you can never say never. Erly and I used to not like him. We
even joked around about why people go ga-ga over him coz you have to
admit that when you haven't seen any of his series or watch any of his
shows, he won't strike you instantly. But after watching 'Fullhouse',
Erly and I, we kinda ...... ermm ....... swallowed our pride and
"ooohhh aaahhh"-ed, "iiiissshhhh-aaahhhh"-ed for Bi hehehe

2 - Tsubasa Imai
He is one of the two bokes I soooo love. To be honest, he slowly crept on to me
only in my 2nd year in the fandom. Now, I appreciate him more coz it is hard
not to like him when you see him in motion. He deserves to be included on
the best dancers list in Johnnys history. I just love his sexy fluid dancing,
his singing and his baka ways. Moreso when he is with.....

cold versus warm

18 degrees --- BRRRRRRRRRRRR~ I know in some parts of the globe, the temperature can go below zero but for literally warm-blooded Filipinos, it's already like having a taste of Antartica *lol* Heard that in Baguio, it's 9 degrees already?! Man, I imagine that somewhere out there, there is a Jim Carrey and a Jeff Daniels riding the bike and freezing cold like they did on 'Dumb and Dumber' movie. You get the picture ---- frozen fingers + frozen brows + frozen blown hair + frozen sweats + even, frozen nosedrips XDDD Anyways, I have been sleeping (except last night which explains this early morning post) under thick comforters dressed in really warm clothes but still, samuiiiii~ Well, let me hide under these sheets while I come up with schemes that could move my friend ANNE-chan to say yes.

Anne, whatever it is, secret lang natin kaya dun mention it here. These things stay in email and keitai inboxes (^_~)....and Id assume you are back there to your lovely island after your expensive weekend getaway, woman *lol* Remember, meeting at 9am wehehehehe

I saw this link by Sarah Ann in Bon-chan's tagboard and I just have to post it. We know that laughter keeps us warm and Im needing it badly right now. This one vid has Masi Oka, mine and Sarah Ann's fave hero on 'HEROES' who happens to be named well, HIRO (Nakamura) on it too. What a coincidence! *ROFL* This was cut from 'THE JAMIE KENNEDY EXPERIMENT' and its really a laugh trip. Don't think that just because this is a US show, I'd spare you of some Japanese. No, no, no~~~

I only discovered 'THE JAMIE KENNEDY EXPERIMENT' very recently during one of my channel-surfing late nights and maybe it was my flawed sense of humor that made me like it. But it could also be that Jamie Kennedy dressed up like a real Backstreet Boy so convincingly, it gave me sidestitches. Imagine him stealing the glory and recognition from an unknowing famous-boyband-member-wannabe in a middle of getting a gig that could very well be the break he's been waiting all his life. With a fake big label producer + 2 ex-MENUDO members on the panel, somehow I feel sorry for the guy. He seem to be the main man in the group but Jamie claimed to the fake press that he is like JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE to NSync *lol* Worse smack would be when his own band members decided to keep Backstreet Boy Jamie in the group and took famous-boyband-member-wannabe out. Ah poor boyband-member-wannabe. I don't ever want to be in his place and get X-ed. Im not a good sport when it comes to these things and I might just throw a tantrum. But Id recommend 'THE JAMIE KENNEDY EXPERIMENT' coz it's funny and it'll keep you warm on cold, cold nights XDDD
