And when the Almighty said, 'LET THERE BE LIGHT!", Dithers squinted her eyes. It's too much light her eyes can take XD So yeah, after so much ranting and bickering about Meralco, sending them wartanks and all, FINALLY, there was light!!!! Hallelujah! Rejoice! Rejoice!~ We got our power back last Friday and what a relief it was. Imagine, more than a week of no-tv, no-microwave, no-internet, no-fans, no-cold water--- Meralco had finally heard our pleas (or was it that 'boom, boom, acka-la-la-ka boom' song MEL that did it? hahaha). Ah MERALCO, merci! If we had gone for another week of no electricity, baka magkutuhan na lang kami dito. Baka mapabayo na ako ng bigas o mangkutkut ng kuko ng may kuko....whichever way, di na kinakaya ng powers ko ang init, inis at inggit sa mga kapitbahay na kasalukuyang nagpaparty at kitang-kita ko pa from my window!!!
I was supposed to go to the office yesterday and finish up on some work and go overtime but since we just had our electricity back, I got lazy and opted to stay home. I'll just come in early tomorrow morning and finished my pending project. I think it's just the right time to celebrate our 'Ohisashiburi ELECTRICITY' day so we were up to abusing the appliances hehehehe
I awoke at 1pm yesterday and found my Dad and bro sittin infront of the tv. Since I just woke up, I sit myself infront of the tv with them in my half-awake, half-asleep state (I really dun get up that easily coz I would still be snatching a few winks even after I wake up). They were actually watching...

Im not following this series much and only saw about 2 or 3 episodes coz I was not really into it. I do know the premise of the story though and was thinking at first, how they could stretch the very thin storyline of a man plotting a jailbreak in a few days into 20+ (now 30+) episodes. In between my half-dreaming and half-watching this series, I finally caught on and the story got me to sit up and watch it and the rest with growing interest.

Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is a promising engineer who have got things going for him until he learned that his only bro and family, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) was involved in a crime of killing the vice president's brother thus, was sent to the death-row. Learning that Lincoln will be sent to the same prison that he, himself, has helped built, he came up with a plan to get himself in and help his bro break out from the prison walls and eventually, spare his life for paying for a crime he did not commit. People from the outside like Veronica Donovan (Robin Tunney), Lincoln's ex-gf and Lincoln's son, LJ (Marshall Allman) are also out to help Lincoln in their own way using the law as their weapon but they have just brought themselves into a deeper trouble with a massive political conspiracy blowing up at their faces. They would only have to trust their better judgements and instincts as to who to trust and where to go.
I have to admit that I have been so quick to judge this series that I thought it would be too dragging to see it. I was wrong. The storyline may be as simple as what I said earlier but things get interesting with every new inmate that comes, their stories that goes with it and the hurdles that each of them have to surpass just to be able get to their mission.
A dad who has to get to her dying daughter before time runs out.
Another dad who has to give an excuse of being called back to military service when he was, a matter of fact, caught and is serving time.
A schizo who have an obsession over Michael's body tattoos (which is actually the masked blueprint of the whole prison).
A Mexican, who may looked tough on the outside but was all lovey-gooey in the inside, and his cousin.
A crazy, criminally-minded maniac who has been America's most-wanted.
A guy who has strong association with the mob.
A 'Vanilla Ice' kid who just cant keep his mouth shut except when Avocado is around.
and of course,
A pair of brothers who were left to depend only on each other.
These among the other stories not enclosed within the walls comprised the series. And my Dad who has been complaining about us watching too much TV even sat with me through 18 hours straight with only quick trips to the CR for break and lunch + dinner + midnight snacks right infront of Wentworth Miller XD When I said we'd abuse the appliance, I really mean WE WOULD ABUSE IT hehehe Thank God for electricity. Thank God for William Gilbert, Pieter van Musschenbroek, Thomas Edison or whoever invented electricity! PS: SHUTTAKY, sorry for another 'crawling ants' entry here. But duncha like having an eye-practice everytime you come here to read??? It's good for you XD
PS2: AKI-CHAN, Wentworth Miller is the brooding type with piercing eyes that could just look through you (cover up now! XD). A part of me likes brooding types but dont worry, he is still yours....URAGIRI HAREM with LJK! :p :p :p
PS3: SNUFFLES-chan, hope you've arrived Japan safe and sound...
